Information for Youth Football Coaches
SYFA Coach Application Requirements
Interested in coaching this year? SYFA is an all-volunteer organization dependent on people like you to be sucessful. In order to coach in SYFA, you MUST complete the following items:
- Contact AJ Paramo (see below link) for Coach's Application
- Concussion Training
- Background Check
- Coach's Training (USA Football HeadsUp)
- Positive Coaching Alliance Seminar
- Child Safety
The processes for completing all these items are found in Trusted Coaches. The SYFA Board will have final say on all coaches, head and assistant as needed. Once Coaches are selected they will be sent information on completing Trusted Coaches.

2023 Coaches Clinics will occur this Spring
All potential tackle level coaches, especially travel level coaches, are asked to join the Varsity staff for the coaches' clinic. We will focus on new offense and defense plays. Dates TBD (Summer 2023)
