Shakopee Football Camps

Summer 2012 football camp registration will be posted here on April 13th.  This summer two camp dates will be offered for 1st through 8th grades; June 19th-21st (morning) and July 31st - August 2nd (morning).

2012 Saber Youth Football Camps (grades 1-8)

2012 Saber Youth Football Camp (grades 1-5)

 

When: Session Y1 is June 19th – 21st (8:45 AM to 10:15 AM) and Session Y2 is July 31st –August 2nd (8:45 AM to 10:15 AM)

 

Who: All interested players going into grades 1 – 5

Ø  Players will be grouped by grade levels; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Flag or 4th and 5th Tackle

 

Where: Shakopee High School – Player drop-off in the west parking lot by the large rock!

 

Cost:

Ø  $35

Ø  Registration due by June 7th  

Ø  Includes 2012 camp T-shirt

Ø  $10 late fee for registrations after 6/7

 

What to Bring:

Ø  Cleats, tennis shoes, water, and sun screen

 

Camp Objectives:

Ø  Teach Football Fundamentals (age and level appropriate)

Ø  Teach SYFA Offensive and Defensive Basics

Ø  Develop speed, agility, and endurance for the fall season

 

Camp is being coordinated and run by Shakopee H.S. football coaching staff and varsity players in partnership with the Shakopee Youth Football Association to promote and enhance football in the Shakopee community!

 

2012 Saber Travel Team Camp (grades 6-8)

 

When: Session T1 is June 19th – 21st (10:00 AM to 11:30 AM) and Session T2 is July 31st –August 2nd (10:00 AM to 11:30 AM)

 

Who: All players interested in playing 6th, 7th & 8th grade football in the fall

 

Where: Shakopee High School – Player drop-off in the west parking lot by the large rock!

 

Cost:

Ø  $35

Ø  Registration due by June 7th  

Ø  Includes 2012 camp T-shirt

Ø  $10 late fee for registrations after 6/7

The high school varsity coaching staff will be teaching the high school systems that each 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams will use. Camp is being coordinated and run by Shakopee H.S. football coaching staff in partnership with the Shakopee Youth Football Association to promote and enhance football in the Shakopee community!

 

Registration

 

All registration is to be completed online at www.shakopeefootball.com.

 

          Session Y1 = June 19th-21st for players going into grades 1st – 5th from 8:45AM to 10:15AM ($35)

          Session T1 = June 19th-21st for players going into grades 6th – 8th from 10:00AM to 11:30AM ($35)

          Session Y2 = July 31st – August 2nd  for players going into grades 1st – 5th from 8:45AM to 10:15AM ($35)

          Session T2 = July 31st – August 2nd  for players going into grades 6th – 8th from 10:00AM to 11:30AM ($35)

Ø  Sessions one and two will be similar, with more being added for the Travel Players in session two!
