The Saber Gridiron Club (Saber Club) is an organization whose goal is to make a difference in the lives of the youth involved in Shakopee Football. The purposes of the Saber Club are:
1) To help raise money for capital improvements.
2) To promote and enhance the participants and parents of Shakopee Youth Football (SYFA) in every way possible.
Your support will not only make a difference to SYFA, but to our entire community now and for the future. Please consider contributing to this legacy at some level. We are asking for your support to help us in this effort and to support areas of the program such as training and insurance for the coaches, field maintenance, and referee costs. While all of the coaches and board members are volunteers and do not receive monetary compensation for their work, the program does have other costs that are paid by the registration fee, fundraisers, and sponsors like you, so we do need and appreciate your help!
Below are the different levels of sponsorship in the Saber Club. Your sponsorship or donation brings with it certain benefits to your company for becoming a valued member, some of which are listed below:

Additionally, SYFA will inform our participating families that your company is to be considered a preferred source for their family's personal needs because of your sponsorship.
As a community member we are asking for your donation to help offset some of the costs for the program so that we can continue to offer a quality program at an affordable registration cost for those who want to participate. SYFA is a 501(c)3 organization therefore all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

Shakopee Youth Football Association is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The IRS grants this coveted status to organizations who meet specific legal requirements and operate under strict conditions with the goal of providing a public benefit.
Because of this, we can offer individual and corporate donors/sponsors a tax deduction for their charitable donations. The possibility of a tax deduction is often an incentive for taxpayers who itemize their income tax deductions.
We are also eligible to receive private foundation grants. Private foundations are required by law to distribute a minimum amount of money for charitable purposes. One way they fulfill this obligation is by making grants to 501(c)(3) public charities.
