Shakopee Football

During the season we will be looking for examples of great character and sportsmanship to share with our players as learning tools.  We would like to hear about those things when they are witnessed so that we may share them and recognize the above and beyond examples at our year end banquet.  At our year end banquet we will recognize one player and one adult that exemplified the greatest example of Saber Pride through an act of positive character/sportsmanship.

Please just send us an email to Saber Football Info or Jody Stone titled “Saber Sportsmanship” with a brief explanation of whom, when and what the extraordinary act was.  While we do know that our players, parents, coaches, and fans are always doing positive things, we expect these to be well above and beyond.  Those recognized could be players, officials, parents, coaches, fans, administration, opponents…!  Positive character and sportsmanship are important parts of our football program and the overall goals of athletic education.  Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
