Players and Parents,
We cannot stress enough the importance of all players reviewing their playbooks. Every player needs to know exactly what their responsibility is on every play. They also should know the responsibility of other players in similar positions. If you know what the guy next to you needs to do, you will be that much more effective in executing your role. Please do not underestimate the importance of really knowing the playbook...it is key to having a successful year.
The best way to get the plays into the players' minds is to review the book for a few minutes every day...not right before the game. Also, take a few minutes right after each practice to look at the plays that were run during that practice to see all of the X's and O's go. This is the best way to see the "Big Picture" of each of those plays. Remember, this offense has the potential to create a score on every play if every player does their role correctly.
