Don't throw your old cleats away!

You hate to let a great pair of cleats go to waste after only one season of use. And how much do you really get for them at the local used sporting goods store? Do you feel it would be more beneficial to help out other Shakopee football participants?

Again, in 2012, the Shakopee Youth Football Association will offer a football cleat exchange!

Drop off your used and clean football (or soccer or baseball) cleats during any of the three Gear Days (equipment pickup) at the football equipment shed behind Schleper Stadium at Tahpah Park. Or bring them in any time during the season when the football equipment shed is open.

Gear Day # 1 is Saturday July 14th - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. 8th grade pick up is from 9am-10am. 7th grade pick up is from 10am-11am. 6th grade pick up is 11am-12pm. 5th grade pick up is 1pm-2pm. 4th grade pick up is 3pm-4pm.

Gear Day # 2  is Wednesday July 25th - 6:00pm to 9:00 pm. Open to all tackle levels. 

Gear Day # 3 [FINAL GEAR DAY] is Saturday August 4th - 9:00am to 12:00pm. Open  to all tackle levels.                                                                    

During our Gear Days, all collected cleats will be on display for a family of need to select. You can come down and pick up a pair of cleats for *FREE* (Limit – one pair per player).  If any cleats remain after that, they will be stored in our equipment shed. If you see the shed open and need a pair, stop in and check out what we have.

 Donating cleats is NOT a requirement to get a free pair.
