Don't throw your old cleats away!

You hate to let a great pair of cleats go to waste after only one season of use. And how much do you really get for them at the local used sporting goods store? Do you feel it would be more beneficial to help out other Shakopee football participants?

Well, starting in 2010, the Shakopee Youth Football Association will offer a football cleat exchange!

Drop off your used and clean football (or soccer or baseball) cleats at the early tackle Gear Day (equipment pickup) on Wednesday, July 28^th between 6 and 8 PM at the football equipment shed behind Schleper Stadium at Tahpah Park. Or bring them in any time during other Gear Days or during the season when the football equipment shed is open.

During our normal Gear Day on Saturday, August 7th, all collected cleats will be on display for a family of need to select. You can come down and pick up a pair of cleats for *FREE* (Limit – one pair per player).

If any cleats remain after that, they will be stored in our equipment shed. If you see the shed open and need a pair, stop in and check out what we have.

Donating cleats is NOT a requirement to get a free pair.
