2011 Winter Skills & Drills a Big Success

The 2011 Winter Skills & Drills have been completed with a great amount of success and fun.  Thank you to the SYFA Coaches, High School Players and all of the participates for making it another successful event.

Tahpah Parking

Attention all Shakopee Youth Football families:
A reminder to everyone that parking along the road leading into/out of Tahpah park is prohibited. There is a no parking sign posted there, and the parked vehicles along that road create a very dangerous situation for other vehicles coming into and out of the park, not to mention dangerous for any players, parents, siblings, or visitors on foot who may be attempting to cross this road.

If you park along this road, there is a real risk of being ticketed by the police since they have been coming down to check on parking and have issued a one-time warning to us on the matter.

We should have plenty of parking spaces in the main parking lot on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights, and with additional families there to enjoy flag football on Saturdays, use of the rear parking lot off Vierling Drive should be used if you are playing on fields 5-8.

Thank you for your cooperation on this.
